Grand Theft Auto 6 Release Date, Map, Missions, Characters & Other Leaks
6 months ago
GTA 5, the most recent game in the long-running series, was released back in September 2013 to rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Ever since then, there has been non-stop speculation about when GTA 6 will be released - and there are plenty of rumors about what it will look like when it finally hits store shelves. With so many leaks and rumors floating around out there on the internet, we thought it would be helpful to sum them all up in one place - this list of GTA 6 release date, map, missions, characters & other leaks should have something for everyone!
GTA 6 Location
It is unknown where the map will be set in Grand Theft Auto 6. Rumors suggest the following: Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City and London. The release date is rumored to be around 2025 or 2024 and it would cost between £80-£90.
GTA 6 Storyline
There are only two confirmed details about the story of Grand Theft Auto 6: One is that it will take place in Los Santos, which players explored in Grand Theft Auto 5. The other is that you'll have to wait for a very long time. This year marks the 11th anniversary since GTA 4's release on October 25, 2008. Development work on GTA 6 might've started as soon as GTA 5 was wrapped up in late 2013-- it took four years for Rockstar to develop its predecessor. It's likely Rockstar has been testing the waters with remastered versions of the older games and teasing their next big hit.
GTA 6 Rumored Characters
GTA 6 will likely have three playable characters to be selected from during missions, with each character having their own unique story and roles. These rumored characters are Vinewood actor Leon Torrey (early 50s), Vinewood director Camilla Martinez (early 60s), and Lenny Jackson, a trash talking retired street thug who is getting involved in the entertainment industry. GTA 6 will also come equipped with an arsenal of new weapons and vehicles for you to select from in order to complete missions.
Started in 2013 as an updated and enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode, GTA Online turned into the biggest and most successful multiplayer game ever released by Rockstar Games.
Now it is the largest open world MMO game of all time with about 3300 people on a server at once. However, unlike regular MMOs you don't create your own character or avatar- instead you take control of one of four roles: thug (close combat), killer (mid to long range combat), wheelman (driving) or business owner/operator (management). While there are many missions that come up in GTA Online that can help to influence the outcome of these occupations, they primarily act as challenges to determine which occupation you'll play.
GTA 6 System Requirements
Since GTA 6 will be a newer game, you can probably expect to need the latest version of Windows 10 on your PC. The minimum system requirements for Windows 10 are: 8GB of RAM, DirectX 11 with WDDM 2.0+, and an Intel Q9000 or AMD Phenom II X4 CPU. As for graphics card recommendation it is likely that NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 980 Ti would be a good pick with an Intel Core i5-3570K CPU and 16GB of RAM.
GTA 6 PC Requirements
The recent news leak of Grand Theft Auto 6 says the game will have support for RTX-enabled graphics and full keyboard and mouse control. It's unknown whether it will be available on console, but those requirements are needed to experience the full fidelity of the game on PC. Here are some more leak details that have been released:
1) GTA 6 will be based in Vice City as well as a fictional city, Ludendorff
2) There may also be vehicles that can fly
3) The map size is reported to be slightly larger than GTA 5
4) However, there will only be 10 major story missions instead of GTA 5's 30
5) The protagonist may either be male or female. There are no restrictions.
