Tekken 8 Breaks New Ground With Its Release on Next-Gen Consoles
6 months ago
Tekken 8 breaks into a new generation: The next installment in the iconic Tekken franchise is breaking into a new generation of gaming.
Tekken 7 was released earlier this year, and the game has already established itself as one of the more prominent fighting games in recent memory. Now, Tekken 8 is breaking new ground by being released on two brand new next-gen consoles. Console fighting game fans can pick up Tekken 8 on both the PS4 and Xbox One when they get these new consoles this fall. Will you be picking up this new version of the popular fighting game? Comment with your thoughts!
Features for Players
Fans of the game are excited to learn that there are plenty of new features being offered with the upcoming release. Tekken 8 will be built from scratch with Unreal Engine 5, bringing a whole new graphics engine and updated gameplay mechanics. Modes such as Team Battle, Ranked Match, and the in-game store keep players invested and playing for hours. For the very first time, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The Game Looks Good on Next-Gen Consoles
Tekken 8 will be built from scratch with Unreal Engine 5, using the latest in rendering and fighting game engine technology for the most beautiful Tekken yet. So far the teasers have been promising with fighters such as Heihachi, Nina and Hwoarang so far seen in various states of combat. My favourite has to be Devil Jin vs Nina due to their rocky history but if this game is anything like past titles it's going to be fantastic. The PS4 version will also feature 60fps gameplay, single input support and a dynamic realtime environment that adapts to players' movement or surroundings. All signs point towards a decent console port which bodes well for any potential PC releases in future too.
The Storyline Is Different in Tekken 8
However, what's been teased so far is that Tekken 7 was the end of a story arc, and in Tekken 8 it will be as though you're starting anew. Heihachi and Kazuya are still alive and fighting with the rivaling clans (G Corporation vs. Mishima Zaibatsu) but to what degree we don't know. One thing is for sure: Tekken 8 will be built from scratch with Unreal Engine 5, which might mean more realistic graphics but much less animations for a game coming out in 2015. Tekken has seen better days in recent years after being bested by both Soul Caliber and Street Fighter in terms of gameplay so hopefully this new release is just what the series needs to jump back into a major contender role.
There Are Many Fighting Game Modes
The Tekken series has been around for quite a while, with the first game being released way back in 1994. It is no surprise that Namco continues to push the envelope with each iteration of the game. This can be seen in this newest release of Tekken 8 which breaks into a new generation with its release on next-gen consoles. Nowadays, more than ever, it is important to have a connection to the player and their fighting style because gameplay lasts so long. However, one of the aspects that I always enjoyed was how varied Tekken was; they had something for everyone and every genre out there. It is refreshing not to play yet another Super Smash Bros game where you do little more than fight off three opponents at once and instead play a one vs.
The Characters are Unique and Amazing
Over the years, I have grown to love these characters for their unique personalities and animations that are so well put together. The background sounds also help make the game much more immersive. As Tekken breaks new ground by being released on next-gen consoles, it is an experience that anyone who has ever had any interest in this kind of fighting games can enjoy. This game, in particular, is so much fun and does a good job of trying to appeal to players who are less knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the technical aspects of fighting games. The wide variety of combos available to the player means that everyone should be able to find something they like within this fighter.
New Features That Will Change the Way You Play
The eighth installment of the Tekken series will be released for both the PS4 and Xbox One. These next-gen consoles allow better graphics, larger worlds, and enhanced gameplay that makes this one of the best Tekken games yet. The console release also adds a revamped customization system with new aesthetics, soundtracks, and designs to make your fighters uniquely your own.
You won't want to miss out on the newest installment in this long-standing game series!
Changes From Previous Versions of Tekken
There have been many games in the Tekken franchise over the years, but Tekken 8 breaks into a new generation. Several changes to the game are expected, such as an upgrade to the graphics and some other technical improvements, but most notably will be Tekken Tag Tournament 2’s game engine being adapted for Tekken 7. The changes will allow for more 3D movement, fluidity and smoothness in gameplay.
