The PS4 version will also feature 60fps gameplay, single input support and a dynamic realtime environment that adapts to players' movement or surroundings. All signs point towards a decent console port which bodes well for any potential PC releases in future too.

The Storyline Is Different in Tekken 8

However, what's been teased so far is that Tekken 7 was the end of a story arc, and in Tekken 8 it will be as though you're starting anew. Heihachi and Kazuya are still alive and fighting with the rivaling clans (G Corporation vs. Mishima Zaibatsu) but to what degree we don't know. One thing is for sure: Tekken 8 will be built from scratch with Unreal Engine 5, which might mean more realistic graphics but much less animations for a game coming out in 2015. Tekken has seen better days in recent years after being bested by both Soul Caliber and Street Fighter in terms of gameplay so hopefully this new release is just what the series needs to jump back into a major contender role.

This game, in particular, is so much fun and does a good job of trying to appeal to players who are less knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the technical aspects of fighting games.
