Will Windows 12 Be the Long-Awaited Successor to Windows 10? Windows 10 was first announced in the summer of 2015, and its popularity quickly became apparent when it sold over 100 million copies in the first year alone. Microsoft has been mostly silent about its successor, Windows 12, but that’s not to say that it hasn’t been working on it – in fact, there have been rumors floating around recently that its release date might be slated as early as 2021! The truth, however, will most likely lie somewhere between these dates – and if that’s the case, are you ready to say goodbye to your favorite operating system?

What will be different about Windows 12

Windows 12 is slated for release in 2022. For those wondering what will be different, there are a few changes we know of so far. Firstly, it will not have a desktop mode like Windows 7 or 8 did. The new operating system will only be run on touchscreen devices. There are also rumors that it will be based on Linux and not windows NT kernel like its predecessor, Windows 11 was.

Where will it be best used

Windows 12 is set for release in 2022 and will be a successor to Windows 10. There's no release date as of yet, but it's coming! In this blog post, we'll go over what new features you can expect in Windows 12.

Windows has been trying to keep up with Apple and Android who have had a long head start on them. They've done an admirable job though, creating an ecosystem that has grown quite large and diverse. Many people still use their old PCs or laptops because they don't want to update their system past Windows 7 - but there are many good reasons why they should consider upgrading!

How much will it cost

Windows 12 release date and pricing are not available at this time. Microsoft has not announced a release date, only that it will be released in 2022, so it is unclear how much it will cost. With that said, let's take a look at what we know about Windows 12:

It will be a successor to Windows 10, which means it will continue on with the same desktop design as its predecessor; It will likely contain features from other versions of windows such as Windows 7 and 8; It won't require an internet connection for updates or installation; It could come with AI and augmented reality features for voice control and facial recognition.

Windows 12 Release Date

Microsoft has been teasing their upcoming Windows 12 release date for years, and it looks like it will be arriving in 2022. While there is a lot of speculation that they might not make it that far, there are many wondering what this release will bring. Will it be enough to finally dethrone Apple's dominance in the world of operating systems? Is Microsoft going all out with this release or just trying to save face after their previous releases were largely unsuccessful? Will Windows 12 have new features that we haven't seen before or will it be more about stability and compatibility with other operating systems like MacOS and Chrome OS? It's too early to tell how successful this release will be, but if Microsoft plays its cards right then they may finally break into Apple's stronghold.

Windows 12 Features

Windows 12 will be a culmination of all of Microsoft's feature-focused changes in recent years. The company is introducing Fluent Design, which aims to make the OS more intuitive and easier on the eyes. The UI will also change its size depending on what you're doing with it, like making it larger for touchscreens or smaller for desktop computers. It'll also introduce new features like Timeline, which lets you go back in time in an app and undo your mistakes; My People, which allows you to pin your favorite contacts so they're always accessible; and Cloud Clipboard, which saves everything that you copy so that you don't have to repeat yourself when working between different devices.
